Hi There, I work at a company where we do dance recital videos - these are usually quite long, between 2 and 5 hours - and the process of creating a menu for each disc usually takes some time. Each song in the recital is given its own chapter. We then use a pre-designed template from Photoshop and import it into either Adobe Encore DVD or DVD Studio Pro. The recital information is added to the Main Menu page, and then there are 'Select A Dance' chapter pages. The names of each song in the recital must be manually entered for buttons on each chapter page, and then each button must be linked with the appropriate chapter. For some recitals, this can be upwards of 60 dances, and is quite time consuming.
Is there any program that allows you to create your own menu template - use your own background, buttons, logos, text, etc. And then, when importing the MPEG2 data, can read the number of chapters required and add & link chapters for the appropriate number of buttons?
Then, from the chapter information from the MPEG2 file, automatically add titles (song names) to each button? If there is an automated way of doing this, it would definitely save alot of time. Also, if there is a program that exists that can do this, can it create Blu-Ray menus in the same fashion?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Billy. Adobe Encore can do all of this using the Chapter Index feature. We design advanced motion menu templates for use in Encore or DVD Studio Pro, but we recommend using Encore not only for it's far superior integration with Photoshop, but because of features such as this. In order to use this feature, the buttons must be named with a special prefix, which I believe all the templates that come with the software do.
The templates that come with our products also support this feature. Cedesktop.exe wince 6 download. If all your chapters are named, which can be done in premiere or directly in Encore, then when you create the chapter index, it will change the text of each button to that of the chapter name. If your chapters do not have any name, it will just number them sequentially (such as 'Chapter 1'). So basically what you do is create a single scene selection menu, drag the first chapter from the timeline onto the first button, then go into the menu bar and tell it to create a chapter index. Based on how many buttons are on the screen and how many chapters are in your timeline, it will know how many additional menus to create, and will properly link up the next and previous buttons to navigate between them.
It's really one of the best features they've added to the program in a long time. If you'd like to watch a video tutorial that explains how to use this feature, in addition to a little tip to avoid a bug with it as well, then you are welcome to visit our website and watch the Encore tutorial for any of our products.
You can access it from the tutorial section of our website. All our tutorials are freely available to anyone.
I have been working on this since 7:30 last night and I'm no closer to figuring it out than I was before I started. So, I have an almost 9 minute video put together in premier. I'd like to burn it to a blank DVD to be played on a DVD player (it's a sentimental slide show for a friend's graduation to give to her parents at her graduation party this weekend - I know people are going to want copies so I'd like to make about 10) Here's what I've done: Put it together in Premier Pro CC Exported media as MPEG2-DVD NTSC Widescreen Progressive Queued it in media coder and Made sure I have the m2v and wav files Now, when I go to open encore this is where I have a problem. I open as an administrator, click new project yada, yada Ok.
Then I get this message: Adobe Encore Debug Event 'Adobe encore has encountered an error -. Src AMEPresetProber.ccp-267 It will NOT let me start anything new, open anything, and will not run!
Restaurant Menu Psd Template
I've tried uninstalling Premier Pro CC and reinstalling it, I've tried exporting as various formats, even when I find a way around this I get a message that an input contract violation has occurred. What does that even mean?! If I can't get this stupid thing to work, is there a way to burn to a dvd WITHOUT the use of this BS encore crap?! Hello Adobe community, I have the Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium student and Teacher Edition. I bought this about 4 or 5 years ago; the verification code still works for my new computer I purchased about a week ago. It runs on windows 7, and has 3 hard drives (one for just windows, one for programs, and one for data - I have saved everything I can for Adobe in the programs hard drive.
Some things still save to the 'windows' hard drive for some reason, but that's not why I'm writing this forum). I do not have any menu templates when I use Encore.
I looked up the solution. When I click the link to download, I am taken to a internet tab that says 'An error occurred while processing your request.
Reference #172.e8200e6b.1f3eb3c4'. I have tried looking up what that reference number means on the internet, not much luck there. So I looked up another solution:. I downloaded the 'Adobe Premiere Pro and Encore solution' (the CS6 functional content), run the setup, and get a window that says 'The product you are trying to install is not an Adobe Genuine Software and appears to be counterfeit. Please report piracy or contact customer support for assistance'. It then says that the version of Creative Cloud I have is missing or damaged, that I need to reinstall it.
I have the latest version of Creative Cloud - it still will not let me download the patch from Adobe. On searching on why the error report came up about it being a counterfeit, some forums said I needed to have the latest version of the Adobe Application manager. I have that - I still receive the counterfeit error message.
Another solution on the counterfeit report said I needed to install the 'Adobe Update Management Tool 8.0 by PainteR'. I haven't been able to find many reviews on the program, so I don't know if it's something I can trust - plus, it's not from Adobe. Could I be saving things on the wrong hard drive?
When I run the installer for the missing Encore libraries and templates, I tell the program to save the folder in the hard drive with my programs, and save it in the folder for Encore. Some things still are saved to the hard drive for windows, but I thought that might be a problem only after things had been downloaded, not before.
Please, any help is appreciated. I recorded a dance recital yesterday, and I need to make 42 DVDs in two weeks.
I don't want to mess with angry dance moms (haha). Hello, I would like to make a DVD-Image with Adobe Encore, but I don't see any options to bring the film up to higher dimensions than 720 x 576 pixels. This isn't even hd, and I am pretty sure it has to be possible to make a DVD with a better Quality.
I have the same problem with making BluRays: I would like to do one in FullHD and at least 25fps and progressive (not interlaced) but it seems like this is not possible in Encore CS6. So here is my question: Is this due to the DVD itself: Isn't it possible at all to make hd DVDs or fullHD BluRays in progressive or does Encore not support these options? And if it is possible: Please tell me how, I really need it!
Thanks a lot in advance, I really look forward for your answers, Raphael. Have been encountering difficulties both with my own custom menus and the menu templates which Adobe provides, both in preview mode and on the actual DVD, when I create a subpicture to highlight a menu button, the sub picture frequently gets partially cutoff, though I'm not sure what is causing it. I can have multiple button, all identical, with identical subpictures, and some will be whole, the others will be cutoff, there is no apparent reason for this to happen, not sure if anyone else has encountered this problem and possible found a fix of work around? I have completed a multi page DVD with chapter index. I'm very new to Encore (CS6), and built my menu template in Photoshop by editing an Encore 'party' template.
I didn't like the highlight in the template, do deleted that layer in Photoshop, forgetting to create a new one. (big mistake) QUESTION: My 40+ button DVD is done, I had to manually adjust each chapter point in the timeline because it was off. CAN I ADD SUBPICTURE HIGHLIGHT within Encore now that the dvd is complete?
I burned a test DVD and it's impossible to navigate in a TV top dvd player. If I add a layer in the menu Photoshop file, do I have to redo the Chapter Index? And thus re-adjust all my chapter points in the timeline, effectively starting over? Thank you for any guidance. I'm just noticing that in my latest build my menu highlight colors are rendering differently on my disc than they appear in Encore.
This is going to be difficult to get across by taking a picture, but here is some reference. This is the menu in Encore- The select text is set to be similar to the color of the heading, so it's a bright mossy green.
Adobe Encore Menu Templates
This is how the menu text appears on a disc- The first menu item matches my look from encore, but the second menu item has a sickly yellow hue to it and a dot pattern running through the highlight text. In Encore these highlight layers are both tagged with my 3rd highlight color in photoshop (=3) and I don't see any difference between them. My menu isn't set to 'Export Highlights in Rich Colors', i'm using a custom Encore pallet that carries across all my menu features. I have many sub menus and all of them have this problem, but my main menu that uses this same color pallet is presenting all it's highlight text correctly.
Hi: I'm a recent migrant from Adobe Premier Elements who took the bait and upgraded to Premier Pro CS4. My problem is with Encore. I'm getting this imfamous 'INTERNAL SOFTWARE ERROR:.
Vobulator TitlePlanner CVOBUPlanner.cpp, line 332' error when I try to build my project. I have serched the forums and looked at all of the posts on this matter and find that none of them seem to come to any resolution - except for the guy who was off to buy a brand new system in an attempt to address the problem.
I have a pretty simple project. ONE timeline. ALL AVI's strung together with no gaps in between. 18 chapter markers. None of them on the end of the time line (who does that?) I have a 'Main Menu' which allows you to choose between just playing the video or going to a scene selection group of sub menus.
There are 4 sub-menus, each with 4 scenes per sub-menu. You can select a chapter, go back up to the main menu or move back and forth between sub-menus. I'm running an HP-Pavillion DUO-Core. I have recently upgraded my memory from 2 to 4 GB and since then, Premier and Encore have stopped crashing all the time. Can anybody help me with this error? Mark Roberts Toronto, Canada.
I am creating a dvd using Encore. I have a menu with two titles and two clips.
Should be simple. But the first clip has 58 TOC marks because it is an instructional video and we need to have 'jump to next or return to previous,' in order to follow these lessons. The second clip is only an addendum with a start and an end. So, in setting up the buttons I created only two, title one, and title two, which should just play then return to the main menu. The test runs perfectly. Encore has prenumbered the buttons.
3 2 1 2 2 1 3 2 1 3 I can not remove the 3 - even though, in my mind there is no 3. Now I have the infamous vobulator 332 message and can go no further.
We've reinstalled the software, I've tried every trick in these Adobe Forums and in others. Can anyone help me? I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I had some video and audio clips that I had to run through a converter and it added to their file names with their encode settings, etc.
When I went to burn the clips to a DVD using Encore CS4, it kept crashing on me when it went to transcode the files. At first I assumed the files were corrupted or had some sort of problem with the way they had been encoded, so I re-exported them out of the conversion software a number of times using different settings. Each time Encore would crash when it went to transcode them.
I even tried restarting the computer in Windows XP mode (rather than Windows 7 64-bit) where I have Encore CS3 installed and it was crashing as well. Finally, I shortened the file names (just a guess on my part) and they all worked without a problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If Encore had an error message come up to indicate the file name were too long, that would have been helpful.
